Longenia

These Terms of Service govern the use of the Longenia platform — its websites, apps, APIs, integrations, services, algorithms and features. By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you confirm you've read and understood these Terms, agree to them, have legal capacity to contract, and consent to the processing of your personal data as described in this legal framework. If you disagree with any provision, do not use the platform.

• Platform: the software, apps, APIs, AI models, databases, dashboards and websites Longenia provides.
• User: the individual who owns a registered account.
• Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable person.
• Sensitive data: health, genetic, biometric, lab, biomarker, clinical-history and wearable data, and anything else classified as sensitive under LGPD.
• Wearables: devices such as Apple Watch, Garmin, Polar, Fitbit, Whoop, Oura Ring, Samsung Health, Google Fit and future compatible devices.
• Health Score: a proprietary, educational indicator — not a diagnosis, not an official clinical risk score, not a substitute for medical evaluation, and its methodology may change at any time.
• Metabolic age: a statistical estimate from Longenia's own models — not a scientifically recognized biological age and not diagnostic.

Longenia organizes, stores, visualizes and analyzes the User's own health information: lab results, longitudinal biomarker tracking, self-reported clinical history, wearable integrations, voluntarily uploaded genetic data, charts and indicators, and AI-generated educational analyses. Longenia does not provide medical, hospital, laboratory, clinical, or telemedicine services.

Everything the platform presents is educational, informational, preventive, organizational and statistical in nature. Nothing on the platform should be read as a diagnosis, prescription, treatment, medical opinion, medical consultation, clinical report, second clinical opinion, or professional advice.

Using the platform does not create a doctor-patient relationship. Longenia is not a hospital, clinic or laboratory; it does not provide medical consultations or telemedicine, and does not replace professional care. Health decisions must always be made together with legally qualified professionals.

The platform uses AI models to help organize and interpret the information you provide — summarizing, spotting trends, comparing historical results, generating insights, suggesting educational hypotheses, and producing charts and indicators. AI systems have inherent limitations: outputs can contain inaccuracies, omissions, inconsistencies, incomplete interpretations, or errors stemming from the data you supplied. Any AI-generated information must be validated by a qualified health professional before it informs any clinical decision.

The platform is intended for legally capable individuals. Minors may only use it through the representation or assistance of their legal guardians, as required by applicable law. Longenia may request proof of authorization when it considers it necessary.

Longenia grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the platform under these Terms. No intellectual property right is transferred to you.

Accepting these Terms electronically has the same legal validity as a physical signature under applicable law. Records of acceptance (date, time, IP address, device, and the version accepted) may be stored as evidence of your consent.

You must provide true, complete and up-to-date information when registering, and keep it current. You are solely responsible for keeping your password confidential, securing your devices, and preventing unauthorized access. Activity on your account is presumed to be yours unless there's clear evidence of a security compromise not attributable to you. Report any suspected unauthorized access, lost credentials, account takeover, or fraudulent use immediately.

You are solely responsible for everything you upload — lab results, imaging, medical reports, PDFs, scanned documents, wearable data, genetic data, photos, and other clinical documents — and you confirm you have the rights needed to submit it. Longenia does not independently verify the authenticity of uploaded documents. You agree not to upload third-party personal data without proper legal authorization; content violating this may be removed.

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes. It is expressly forbidden to: use the platform for illegal activity or fraud; use a false identity or share access credentials; attempt to access other users' accounts; inject malicious code or exploit security vulnerabilities; reverse-engineer or decompile the platform; interfere with the service or run automated attacks; scrape data at scale; copy platform features or proprietary algorithms; or use the service to train competing models without express authorization.

Longenia makes commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but interruptions can happen (maintenance, updates, third-party outages, connectivity or power failures, cyberattacks, force majeure). Continuous, uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed, and temporary unavailability is not a breach of contract.

The platform is under continuous development: features may change, be removed, replaced, discontinued, improved, or shipped as Beta/Experimental/Preview/Early Access — provided "as is" for technological validation. Methodologies behind the Health Score, metabolic age, composite biomarkers, indicators and AI models may change at any time without creating an acquired right to any prior version.

Longenia may integrate with third-party services (Apple Health, Apple Watch, Garmin Connect/Health, Google Fit, Health Connect, Samsung Health, Fitbit, Oura, Polar, Whoop, labs, genetic-testing providers, cloud storage). These integrations depend on the respective providers' technical availability and policies, which Longenia does not control or guarantee.

All rights in the platform — software, source code, architecture, database, UI, branding, dashboards, algorithms, statistical and AI models, the Health Score and metabolic-age methodology, documentation, APIs, text, graphics and reports — belong exclusively to Longenia or its licensors. No IP right is transferred to you, and copying, decompiling, reverse-engineering, reselling, or reproducing proprietary methodologies without express authorization is prohibited.

Suggestions or feedback you send voluntarily may be used by Longenia to improve the platform, with no obligation of payment or credit. If a company, clinic, hospital or other organization uses the platform, the person registering confirms they have authority to bind that entity to these Terms; a separate contract may prevail in case of conflict. You agree to receive service-related electronic communications (email, in-app and push notifications) about security, contract changes, updates, incidents, scheduled maintenance, regulatory matters, and confirmations of your own requests.

These Terms are part of Longenia's legal framework together with the Privacy Policy, the Consent for Sensitive and Genetic Data, the AI Transparency Policy & Medical Disclaimer, and the Cookie Policy.

The official language of these Terms is Portuguese (Brazil). This English version is a courtesy translation; in case of conflict, the Portuguese version prevails. Read it at /pt/legal/terms. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay fully in effect.
